Braxton Benjamin Ka Makana Makamae Mai Ka Lani Masamitsu Mamizuka's Obituary
Braxton Benjamin Ka Makana Makamae Mai Ka Lani Masamitsu Mamizuka, age 10, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday, September 17, 2019. Braxton was born in Kahuku, Hawaii to Matt Mamizuka & Jasmin Pullman on June 28, 2009 and was the youngest and only boy joining his three sisters, Kayley, Serenity & Madison. Braxton was a 5th grader at Kahuku Elementary and would serve as 'Color Guard' by holding the American Flag during the Pledge of Allegiance. He was known and especially loved for his infectious laugh, incredible smile and twinkling eyes with eyelashes that wouldn't quit! It was a well known fact that spending a recess with Braxton was a privilege that warranted a 'sign-up sheet' that was always full and stretched out into the future. Even those NOT in his main homeroom class would sign-up to 'hang out' with Braxton during recess. Those who knew this incredible young man realized early on that THEY left a better person BECAUSE OF HIM! Braxton is survived by his parents: Matt & Jasmine, sisters: Kayley, Serenity & Madison, grandparents: Richard & Leta Mamizuka and Allison & Peter Pullman, numerous aunties, uncles, & cousins. Family will be celebrating Braxton's amazing life on Wednesday, October 9, 2019 at the Valley of the Temples Mortuary Lower Chapel. Visitation/Viewing: 11:00 a.m.; Service: 12:00 p.m. with Burial to follow at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park at 2:00 p.m.
