Brian Mitchell Cuyo's Obituary
Brian Mitchell Cuyo, 60, of Pearl City, passed away February 25, 2017. He was born in Honolulu on September 8, 1956 to parents Crispulo R. Cuyo and Anita Pias Cuyo, and was the third of six children. He graduated from Farrington High School and went on to a career as an elevator technician. It is said that he was one of the best technicians and very well respected and liked by his co-workers. He lived most of his life in Kalihi and Pearl City, and was a member of New Hope Church. Described by his family as being quiet, sometimes moody, thoughtful and kind, he was very family oriented and enjoyed participating in family events. Mostly a home body, he loved sports, enjoyed gambling, and listening to Christian music.
Brian was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Allan C. Cuyo.
He is survived by three brothers, Randolph Cuyo, Ferlin Cuyo and Fernando Calibuyot; sister, Francine R. Kealoha; nieces, nephews and cousins.
Celebration of Life Services will be held on Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Visitation will be from 5:30-9:00 p.m. with a service of remembrance will begin at 6:30 p.m. Leis are welcome. Casual attire is suggested.
