Bruce Edward Hunt's Obituary
Bruce E. Hunt, a longtime resident of Hawaii, retired from the Air Force after 30 years of service with the rank of Colonel. He was a fighter pilot in World War II, flying 172 combat missions in North Africa and Italy and 24 years later flew 125 combat missions in Vietnam. Among his many decorations were the Legion of Merit, two Distinguished Flying Crosses, fourteen Air Medals, two Meritorious Service Medals, the Bronze Star and the French Croix de Guerre. He was a graduate of the University of Arizona and received a Masters Degree from George Washington University. He is survived by his daughter, Christiana Lovelace; grandson, James Lovelace; and granddaughter, Camille Pinard with her husband, Shaun and their children, Logan Pinard and Elise Pinard.
