Caridad "Carrie" Asierto Dulatre's Obituary
Caridad “Carrie” Asierto Dulatre passed away peacefully on July 31, 2014 at Pali Momi Hospital Aiea, Hawaii. She was born in Vigan, Ilocos Sur, Philippines. She was 84 years old. The family immigrated to Hawaii in 1970, where they raised their family. She was a devoted and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a business woman, buying and selling Philippine products. She loved cooking, traveling and babysitting her grandchildren. Her passion however, was in "care giving" to children, which spans over 25 years. Caridad was preceded by her husband Mauro C. Dulatre in 2005, father Julian Asierto, mother Felisberta A. Asierto, daughter Virginia A. Dulatre, son Alexander A. Dulatre, granddaughter Michelle Noji, grandson Justin Kelii, sister’s Romana Asierto (Divencio) Estranero, Matilda Asierto (Alfredo) Argiante and Agustina Asierto (Gaspar) Ribultan. She is survived by her children, Linda (Richard) Henderson of Seattle, Washington, Belma (Alfonso) Mapalo of San Antonio, Texas, Jovenal (Deborah) Dulatre of Kaneohe, Hawaii, Bernadette (Val) Mapalo of San Antonio, Texas, Mario (Rose) Dulatre of Lihue, Kauai, Mary Ann (Alexander ) Dulatre of Mililani, Hawaii, Arturo (Antoinette Perry) Dulatre of Waipahu, Hawaii, and Elmer Dulatre of Pearl City, Hawaii, 24 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services are scheduled for Wednesday, September 3, 2014 at 5:30pm at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary in Kaneohe, Hawaii and Thursday, September 4, 2014 at 9:30am at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church in Pearl City, Hawaii, with burial to follow at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery in Kaneohe, Hawai`i.
