With hearts full of love, we celebrate the life of Carmelita Turalva Benigno, a hardworking woman who loved her family dearly. Born on May 30th, 1963, in the Philippines, Carmelita brought joy and warmth to all who knew her. She passed away in Honolulu on January 1st, 2025.
Carmelita was known for her kind, supportive, humble, and hardworking nature. One of her greatest joys was cooking for her whole family, and she knew all of her children's friends since they were young, always inviting them in with her welcoming call, "Eh, Come Eat!" Her home was a place of laughter and togetherness, where everyone felt like family.
She is survived by her loving spouse, Nelson Ramos Benigno Sr., and their children: Nelson T. Benigno Jr., Cedric T. Benigno, Wesley T. Benigno, and Charmaine T. Benigno. She was also the proud grandmother of 12 grandchildren, who were the light of her life.
Carmelita also shared a close bond with her brothers, Tom Turalva and **Romy Turalva, who remember her fondly for her unwavering support and boundless affection
Carmelita's legacy of love and generosity will continue to inspire all who knew her. We will always cherish the joyful memories and the warmth she brought into our lives.
