Carole Jane Loo's Obituary
It is with great sadness we announce the unexpected passing of Carole Jane Loo transitioning while surrounded with love by her family, now free from all suffering. She made the passage from Honolulu to eternal life on a beautiful Thursday afternoon, October 5, 2023.
Carole was born February 25, 1945 in Honolulu, the daughter of Alyce and Thomas Loo. After attending Punahou School and the University of Hawaii, Carole joined United Airlines where she enjoyed her many travels with her fellow comrades. She maintained Hawaii ties even after moving to San Francisco by gracing the stage dancing hula with her halau sisters.
Carole was an amazing artist with great creativity and imagination, who enjoyed and appreciated family, friends and conversations. She will always be remembered as a free spirit and a caring individual. She will be dearly missed and forever loved.
Immediate surviving family, brothers Earl (Satomi) and Carl, niece Jennifer, nephews Jason and Brandon. While we mourn her loss, we are comforted to know that she is at peace with the Lord.
Family and friends are invited to Carole’s Celebration of Life at Ko’olau Ballroom, Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at 45-550 Kionaole Road, Kaneohe from 10:00am to 2:00pm to reminisce, pay tribute, share photos or even dance a hula to honor her memory.
Casual attire. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you please consider a donation to your favorite charity in memory of Carole Jane Loo. Ashes will be scattered at a later time and if you know of a special place Carole really enjoyed, we would love if you would participate in the scattering of Carole’s ashes at that location.
The Loo Ohana would like to extend our appreciation for all the love and support that we have received.
