Susan Lemn
As I reflect my memories of Caroline (also known as Sally) whom I first met as Kamehameha Schools. She immediately informed me to clean 50 pounds of onions and then was instructed to peel 100 pounds of potatoes.
Over the years it was pure pleasure to work and talk with her. I met her when I was 17 yrs old and over 52 years over time I really got to know her.
She often took photos of the food that was made at Kamehameha Schools Aikahi Dining Hall. When a person retires, she would create a photo album in their honor as a keepsake. ( Note: she prepared & paid for each book to give these memories to the retiring employee. )
In closing she worked there for more than 53 years, has a heart of gold, and always had a bright smile on her face for anyone to see.
She will always be missed by me & my husband Tommy. The heavens are blessed to have her there and finally be together with her husband - it’s been a long time for her.
Love you always and forever!
I will allwayyzz treasure our times together.
