Catalino "Lino" Acierto Cadiz's Obituary
Celebrating the Life of Catalino “Lino” Acierto Cadiz, 87, of Honolulu, Hawaii, who passed away on November 13, 2014. He was born in Vintar, Ilocos Norte, Philippines to Leonardo Cadiz and Norberta Acierto; he was the youngest of four children.
He attended Cabisuculan Elementary School. He married Angelina Calumpit Zuniga and they lived at 1558 Meyers Street in Honolulu.He was a retired Harbor Square maintenance worker, for 33 years and a former farmer in the Philippines. His enjoyed watching boxing and listening to the Ilocano Radio Station. He also loved listening to Ilocano songs.
He is survived by wife, Angelina Zuniga Cadiz; sons, Alexander (Nelia) Cadiz, Sr., Edwin Cadiz, Roger (Edna) Cadiz, Erwin (Josie) Cadiz, and Philip (Kathleen) Cadiz; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and brothers Dionisio Cadiz and Simeon Cadiz.
Visitation to his evening wake service will be held 5:30-9:00 p.m., Friday, December 19, 2014 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; service to begin at 6:30 p.m. Additional visitation to his funeral service will be held 9:00-10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the Co-Cathedral of St. Theresa; Mass to begin at 10:30 a.m., with burial to follow 12:00 noon at the Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
