Charlotte Puanani Dias "Nani" Kamaka's Obituary
Charlotte Puanani Dias Kamaka, beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, passed away October 19, 2017 at the age of 73. Born in Honolulu on August 6, 1944 to parents Myron Dias and Charlotte P. Kauo Dias, Nani was a homemaker and a newspaper carrier for the Honolulu Star-Bulletin and the Star Advertiser for over 57 years.
She is survived by her five children, Albert "Honey Boy" (Andrea) Kamaka, Charlotte P. "Honey Girl" (Art) Kamaka, Cindy (Billy) Freitas, Charles Kamaka, Jr., and Denise Kamaka; 22 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren; sisters, Katie Palama and Yvonne Heanu.
Services for Nani will be held on Monday, November 6, 2017, at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary. Visitation will be from 5:30-9:00 p.m. Service and remembrances will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Graveside service and burial will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 7, 2017, at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
