"See you later alligator"
Our beloved Nana, Cherylann Amina, passed away on January 10th, 2025, in Kailua, Hawaii. Born on December 4th, 1956, in Ewa, Hawaii, she was the heart and soul of our family.
Nana loved with all her heart. She filled our lives with joy and warmth, always curious and supportive. Her determination and hardworking spirit were an inspiration to us all. With a creative flair, she found happiness in drawing and spent countless hours watching TV, sharing those simple yet cherished moments with us.
She leaves behind her loving daughter, Kanani Gwin, her son-in-law, Noema Maulupe, and her adored grandson, Rome Gwin. The bond she shared with each of us was special and unbreakable. Nana's favorite saying, "See you later alligator," will forever echo in our hearts, a sweet reminder of her playful spirit.
We will treasure the memories of her laughter, her gentle guidance, and the endless love she gave. Though she is no longer with us, her legacy lives on in the love she instilled in our family.
Until we meet again, Nana. We love you always.
