Chiemi Marci Honda Hirano's Obituary
Chiemi Marci Honda Hirano, age 38, passed away in Makaha on March 26, 2020.
She was an honored graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa majoring in English.
While her life was tragically too short, Chiemi will be remembered for her artistic talent and her selfless empathy. She created countless hand-drawn birthday cards, notes, sketches, and anonymously published illustrations all inspired by her love for and dedication to the people she cared for most. Chiemi’s creativity and talent continues to bring joy to those who were lucky enough to receive her creations.
However, Chiemi’s life was defined by her dedication to family. She loyally and selflessly cared for her grandparents and parents through their illnesses and passings. She spent her last moments at her mother’s side.
Marci is survived by her eternally grateful brother, Kevin, and loving aunties, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Chiemi will be remembered for her kind heart and sacrifice she made to put the needs of others before her own. Private service to be held.
