Chiyeko was a very sweet lady that i got to know when she attended the Moiliili Community Center Kupuna Support Program in 2011. I was assigned to assist her as a senior companion, and i will never forget how kind and polite she was to me. She thanked me for every small gesture i did for her, and always gave me a smile. She was very concerned that i was given whatever she was getting, like lunch and snacks, even though i was not suppose to get it. I will never forget Chiyeko for her caring and kindness, and i really enjoy her company even though she did not say much. I really missed her when she stopped attending the program.
May she rest in peace.
