Christopher Leighton's Obituary
Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary at Valley of the Temples regrets to announce the passing of Mr. Christopher G. Leighton, 73, of Pearl City, HI. He was born in Concord, Massachusetts to the late Stanford Leighton and Pamela J. Barry. Chris loyally served as an airman and sergeant in the US Air Force followed by service in the PAC-AF 15th Civil Engineering and Transportation Squadrons. He later worked at the Pearl Harbor shipyard while pursuing his education in Engineering. During this time, Chris met and married the love of his life, Trazona Balisacan. In his later years, Chris became an accomplished healthcare engineer who oversaw facility operations for numerous hospitals and healthcare institutions in Hawaii. His favorite work though, was being a parent to his children and then grandfather to his only grandchild after retirement. He is survived by his mother, Pamela J. Barry, sister Deborah Leighton, son Jonathan Leighton, daughter Alexis Watanabe (Reid Watanabe) and his best buddy and grandson Leighton.
