Dr. Chung Ta Hsin's Obituary
Dr. Chung Ta Hsin, age 79, of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed
away November 12, 2020. Chung Ta was born December 17, 1940 in Tainan, Taiwan to Wen Ping and Mei Hsin. He married Frances Fen-Huei (Lee) Hsin on January 28, 1972 in Taipei, Taiwan.
He had a great sense of humor and was well liked by everyone
who met him. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially after he retired from Kaiser Permanente Hawaii after 25 years, the job that brought him to Hawaii.
He is survived by his wife, Frances Fen-Huei Hsin of Honolulu,
Hawaii; children, Helen Hsin Nakamoto (Kirk) of Honolulu, Hawaii, Joanne Hsin Chui (Michael) of Los Angeles, California, Peter Ted Hsin (Eugenia) of Glenview, Illinois; grandchildren, Ryan Nakamoto, Dustin Chui, Nathan Hsin, Marcus Chui, Jacob Hsin, and Elizabeth
Hsin; brothers Tsung Daw Hsin (Na Mei) of Tainan, Taiwan, Chung Herng Hsin (Mei Len) of Taipei, Taiwan; sisters Mei Hui Wu (Yung Tung) of Chun Li, Taiwan, Mei Chih Lee of Taipei, Taiwan; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother-in-law
Chen Ming Lee.
In support of our local, state, and federal government
including CDC directives and to protect the physical health, safety and well-being of our community, only a limited number of guests will be allowed to attend the Memorial Service.
