Clara Leialoha Omerod's Obituary
Clara Leialoha Omerod, 90, passed away in Honolulu on November 29, 2018.
She was born on December 16, 1927 in Kau, Hawai'i to parents, Basil Kekauhiniamakaokahekili Apiki and Juliet Nohokula (Kahiwa) Apiki.
She was a retired housekeeping supervisor for Kuakini Medical Center, a Kupuna of the Keaukaha Hawaiian Homestead - Hilo, Hawai'i and the Alu Like Kupuna Program.
Clara is preceded in death by husband, William Joseph Omerod.
Clara is loving survived by her children, Dianne N. Ondo, Jana K. Jones, Catherine B. (Roy F.) Brooks, Wendy Jo DeLaura, Louis R. (Heather E.) Omerod, Kelly Jean (Terry K.) Manning, John P. Omerod Sr. (MaryAnn H. Omerod); many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Celebration of life services for Clara will be held on Friday, January 18, 2019 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; visitation from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m., service to begin at 10:30 a.m., with graveside service and inurnment to follow 1:00 p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery.
