Dear Bob,
The Community Church of Honolulu (CCH) send you our loving sympathy. As you so well know, Clara was a very special person. She certainly blessed CCH with her dry wit and easy grace. Her role in our choir was not just singing a part but she was also part of the glue that held the choir together as ohana. The children and youth are particular grateful for the work that she and Auntie Sharon poured into our last Christmas Pageant. They both worked with the kids with loving patience. They both very kindly supplied the musicality that I could not as a non-musician.
Lastly, Bob, I want you to know that in our many conversations, she spoke about you with tender and strong love.

I know you are singing highest Praises to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in the beauty of His promised eternal heaven. John 3:16.
Your musicality and alto voice anchored the choir at Community Church of Honolulu. You were a gracious mentor allowing me to singalong with you because I have no vocal abilities.Regardless, you graciously welcomed my efforts and I enjoyed myself greatly.
May our God be a sure comfort to your husband and loved ones. We love you, dear one.

Clara was an angel who shared her vocal talents with thousands over decades of singing with various choral and music groups, a loyal and helpful blessing to everyone. She was there — for performing each Sunday at Community Church of Honolulu, more than anyone, assisting those in our chorus who needed help vocally and in reading music sheets. She was a professional, trained and possessing a sweet voice and talent playing ukulele. She was loyal, never ever complaining and always smiling, showed up for cleaning the church when few others did during the pandemic. She helped youths, singers of any ages, and she sang a duet or trio or quartet with me many times, never seeking recognition or praise. She was a humble servant of God and a real friend to all.
I cannot say enough without wishing she were still singing, happily now in Heaven with God.
