Clarence Kamaopio Young's Obituary
Celebrating the Life of Clarence Kamapio Young, born on April 18, 1937 in Koolau Poko, where he lived Kahaluu. His parents were Ahmoy and Ahkung Young. He was the 10th out of 16 children. He attended Waihole Elementary and Castle High School. After graduation he began a career with Hawaiian Dredging Operating Engineers Local 3. He retired after 50 years of service. He was married to Susanne Ahchoy Young.
Clarence was a loving, caring, hardworking family man who was always happy, and enjoyed farming, raising his animals and listening to Hawaiian music.
He is survived by wife, Susanne Young, son, Corey Young; daughters, Clarene (Patrick) Bailey and Charlene (Peter) Kracowiak; brothers, Robert Young and Scott Cree-Young; sisters, Mary Hillman, Lena Sato, Angeline Nakamoto and Margaret Nichon; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; special friend, Roy Hussy.
Visitation: 9:00-10:00a.m., Tuesday, March 31, 2015 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; service: 10:00a.m.; with burial to follow 1:00p.m. at Valley of The Temples Memorial Park.
