I have been changed for good because of my Uncle Clay. There was never a time--if he was home and in his special chair--that he wasn't reading or journaling something. Ever growing and inspiring. I would just bask in his presence. He listened like no one I have ever known. And, when you were graced with his encouragement or wisdom, you felt better for it.
Uncle Clay had a wonderful sense of humor and a great love for humanity. He was one who lived to be of service to others. I don't recall him ever saying "No" or that anything was "impossible". And, boy, was he as handsome as ever.
I could tell many stories, but they will remain in my heart, as he will, forever.
I send my love and prayers to his entire 'ohana -- familial and worldwide.
I know you are with God, dear Uncle Clay, and you will be missed more than you will ever know. May you sing with angels, and I will listen for your words and music to come to me from time to time. A hui hou. Me ke aloha pumehana, your niece, Kathy Paet
