Colleen Denise Mililani Among's Obituary
Colleen Among, 58, of Pacific Palisades, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 17, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Colleen grew up in Pacific Palisades and was the fifth of six children born to Georgia and Alexander Among Sr. Colleen was a retired DLNR Conservation Enforcement Officer who loved her job dearly. She was a hard-working single mother of four daughters, a proud grandmother of seventeen grandchildren, and an even prouder great-grandmother to five great-grandchildren. Colleen is survived by her daughters Leah, Kristylen [Israel], Tiffany, and Tiana [John]; Grandchildren Janae, Torie, Elias, Zoey, Azriel, Ezra, Johawna, Tatiana, Zion, Elianna, Ariana, Siva, Hezekiah, Noah, Zaven, and Daxx; Great-grandchildren Isaia, Exodus, Sarai, Patiennce, and Ivy. Colleen's unshakeable faith in Jesus Christ was always prevalent in every situation she faced, whether good or bad. She was living proof of the miracles He is capable of and she was sure to sing his praises to anyone who would listen. Her genuine love for others and selflessness will forever be missed.
Service to be held at Valley of the Temples Main Chapel on Thursday, October 19th. Visitation to begin at 5:00pm.
