Constancia Tanodra Del Rosario's Obituary
CONSTANCIA TANODRA DEL ROSARIO (aka TANSING to friends from Lanai City, AUNTY CONNIE in the Senior Community, MAMA AUNTY and MAMA CONNIE to everyone else) Born in Cebu, Philippines on September 18, 1924 and on June 4, 2019 she peacefully passed at home in Ewa Beach, Hawaii.
She was a Mother of 7 and the eldest sister of 9 siblings. Grandmother of 20, Great Grandmother of 50 and Great Great Grandmother of 18. Pre-deceased by her spouse, Marcelo Del Rosario Sr., her eldest son Marcelo Jr (Violet), and daughter Gloria (Richard) Gregory.
Survived by daughters Fely (Bobby) Buendia, Lori Saffery, Stephanie (Tally) Del Rosario and sons Boni (Diane) Del Rosario and Alfred (Dido) Del Rosario. Pre-deceased sibilings, Sister Circoncision (Andres) Miranda, and brother Vince (Priscilla)Tanodra. Survived by sisters Dionisia (Henry) Willingham and Solidad (Mariano) Masicampo, brothers Juan (Beverly) Tanodra, Valentino (Sharon) Tanodra, Ralph (Joyce) Dela Calsada, and Stanley (Joanna) Timbreza.
At 94 years old, she was energetic and so full of life. Always playing games, Hanafuda, Scrabble, and Cribbage, to name a few. Her all-time favorite was her crossword puzzle books and her morning ritual “Today Puzzle” from the daily newspaper. Always, always very kind and supportive and most of all OUR spiritual influence. Prayers and forgiveness was her way of LIFE. We will always cherish her SMILE and happiness in OUR hearts, for it being OUR inspiration to love each other and take care of one another because FAMILY was her LOVE, and FAITH was her strength and guidance. Love & Prayers. Rest in love Mama Connie.
