Corazon Robina Candelario's Obituary
Corazon Robina Candelario, 89, of Honolulu, Hawai’i passed away on April 26, 2018. Corazon was born to Laureana (Agonias) and Pedro Robina on August 28, 1928 in Asingan, Pangasinan, Philippines.
She attended the following schools: Asingan Elementary, Dagupan City College and Jackson College.
Corazon was a retired housekeeper for Kapiolani Medical Center for Women & Children, serving since 1993.
She lived in Honolulu and was a member of the Filipino Catholic Club and the Co-Cathedral of St. Theresa.
Her favorite quotes and sayings were: “Be good,” “Love your neighbor,” “Life is a learning experience,” “Learn by your mistakes,” and “Life is too short.”
Her most important events in her life were caring for her grandchildren, nephews and nieces during their early childhood days.
She loved traveling to the Philippines, Asia, United States of America, Canada and Rome.
Corazon’s favorite music was Ilocano songs, especially “Bannatiran” and “Dikanton Malipatan.”
She is survived by her son, Aurelio “Leo” Candelario; daughter-in-law, Sherri Sommer-Candelario; three grandchildren, Taylor, Lauren and Allison.
Celebration of life and funeral service for Corazon will be held on Monday, June 4, 2018 at the Valley of the Temples Chapel; visitation from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m., service to begin at 11:30 a.m., with burial to follow 2:00 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
