He was a dedicated fan of Castle Knights Athletics, where he himself once played basketball and graduated from.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Mattie M. Aberilla, and daughter, Trinidad A. Aberilla-Labatad. He is survived by his sons: Allen Aberilla (Penny Quinata), Ivan (Yuki) Aberilla, Clyde (Mackie) Aberilla, Dayton (Kimberly) Aberilla, Emmett Aberilla, Kamalei Aberilla; daughters Debbie (Michael) Villoria, Roxanne (Robert) Celio, Sheila (Edward) Pama, and Danielle Aberilla (Micah Carreira). He leaves behind a legacy of love through his 22 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.
