Daniel Cabrejas Paglinawan's Obituary
In Loving Memory of Daniel Cabrejas Paglinawan
Daniel Cabrejas Paglinawan, a cherished figure in our Ohana passed away peacefully on March 6, 2026 at the age of 78.
Born in Escalante, Negros Occidental, Daniel was the owner and master baker of Kamehameha Bakery. He is well known for his pastries, especially his famous poi donuts. For Daniel, baking was more than a profession; it was a way to evangelize with his God-given gifts.
One gracious gift bestowed on Daniel was his deep faith. Whether leading a heavy-laden discussion on the mysteries of the faith or a light pop quiz of the Bible, he used his infectious personality to bridge the gap between Heaven and Earth—always seeking to bring more of God’s children into the warmth of the light.
His generosity, dad-like humor, and approachable personality was used daily to brighten the lives of everyone he met.
He is survived by his loving wife, Geramie Pratt; children, Genil, Lisa, Joy, Dianah, Daniel Jr.; 16 grandchildren; 2 great grand-children; siblings, Victor, Jean, Sonny, Roger, and Noel; nieces, nephews, cousins, and a community of friends and colleagues who will miss his presence dearly.
