Uncle Darryn was always so sweet and he meant so much to me. I spent a lot of time at the house with him when he babysat me. They had this large bin of markers, and he would let me draw on him with it. One day I had drawn on him with sharpie, even on his face. But he didn't get mad he laughed and thought it was cute. He spoiled me rotten whenever I was with him and I will always remember the fun times I had with him.
Uncle Darryn also used to drive a mixing cement truck. When I was young my mom told me that it is a pretty dangerous job because he has to get to the job on time without getting in an accident. So every time I prayed, it ended with "and bless Uncle Darryn and his mixing truck. Amen." I did that for so long, even after he stopped driving the truck. When we were driving on the road and saw one of the mixing trucks, I always thought of Uncle Darryn. Even to this day I still do, and I always will.
