Dason Donovan Udac's Obituary
Dason Donovan Udac, 44, of Kailua-Kona and formerly of Na'alehu, Hawaii peacefully passed away on Sunday January 28, 2024 at Queens Medical Center on Oahu. Born in Hilo, Hawaii, he lived a life filled with love for the outdoors. His passion for camping, fishing, and hunting brought him joy, and he was fortunate to be surrounded by a close-knit circle of family and friends.
Survived by companion Marissa San Jose of Kealakekua; sisters Alfreda (James) Santiago of Kailua-Kona, Zenaida Paglinawan of Kailua-Kona, Carla (Clement) Andrade of Pahala, Ursula UJU Udac of Na'alehu, and Gwendolyn Udac (Kihei Serrao) of Discovery Harbour; brothers Ernesto Udac of Kealakekua, Sheldon Paul Udac (Patrick Ancona) of Kailua-Kona; hanai brothers Gino Aniban, Terrence Savella, Roland Beck, Quincy Kaawa, Pomai Kaawa Olson, Chester Aquino, Kaleo Costa, Christopher Couzens, Mike Mierop, Eric 'Shaggy' Plummer; hanai daughters Mariah, Jessica, and Alexandra; 11 nieces, 11 nephews, 16 grand nephews, 21 grand nieces and 2 great grand nephews. He was greeted in Heaven by his parents: Alfredo & Agnes Udac and baby brother Ryan Nolan Udac.
The funeral service to honor his memory will take place on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at the Na’alehu Community Center, 95-5635 Mamalahoa Hwy., Na'alehu, HI. Prayer service will begin at 10:00 am followed by a celebration of life and luncheon. Inurnment will be held at a later date. The family requests Aloha attire.
