David "Chino" Mario Montero's Obituary
Celebrating the Life of David “Chino” Mario Montero, who passed away in Aiea on May 2, 2014. He was born on February 13, 1962 in Honolulu, Hawaii. His parents were David and Lorita Montero. David was the oldest of three children. He attended Kaimuki High School. He began his career as a Musician.
David was a respected, loved, trusted, talented and outstanding man, whose favorite past times included singing, playing music and paddling canoe. He enjoyed listening to Hawaiian and Rock N Roll Music.
His most important events in his life were becoming a Na Hoku award nominee and becoming well known around the world.
He is survived by his daughter, Charise Montero; son, Noah Lacbayan; mother, Lorita Jane Montero; brother, Dana Montero; sister, Dawn Montero; 8 grandchildren.
Visitation will be held 8:30-11:30a.m, Thursday May 29, 2014 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary; with services at 11:30a.m.; burial to follow at 2:00p.m. at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery.
