I’v known Dave for over 40 years. I met him when he came to Kaaawa fire station when he was 35 years old. He had arms like banana stomps. We worked together for over 10 yrs. He taught me how to trownet, never met someone with so much talent. We took up golf together and had some fun times at Kahuku golf course, not to mention some competitive ping pong ball pee the pants fun matches at the station. He had a strong sense of integrity and humility. I witnessed him comforting loved ones who lost a family members at alarms we went to. I will miss stopping by his house over the years, playing guitars, talking about the world's problems and the good old days when we were young. This life that we know is only a stepping stone to the Eternal Journey that awaits. “Every Ending Has a New Beginning and The Best is Yet to Come”. Dave practice your golf swing. Till we meet again, ALOHA, RAY
