Dawn Alohilani KamakanaBorn on June 21, 1965 and passed away on March 6, 2012. Her first name, Dawn, was given because she was a new beginning as the dawn of the day. Her middle name, Alohilani, "brightness of heaven", and now she is. She was always full of joy and smiles even during her challenges and illnesses. She was an awesome mother and always had compassion for others, especially little babies. She could always get them to smile. The ocean was her playground which she so loved. We feel emptiness within ourselves and the world has lost a bright light but she will shine on forever in heaven. We love you Dawn "Ming-Ming". Aloha She is survived by mother, Patricia Gay Kamakana; sons, Ronald Dean Keola and Joshua Kawela Kamakana; daughter, Tiana Kealohilani Kamakana; brother, William Kaipoaloha and John Poo Kamakana IV; sister, Deborah Gay Kauilani Kamakana; nieces Sina Kaleikulaokalani Peters, Janelle Kauilani Kamakana, Chelsea Leolokomaikai Ganzagan and Danica Pualilia Kamakana; nephews, Jonah Makanaakua Ganzagan, John Poo V and Keali'i David Kamakana; grandniece, Sania Kaleikulaokalani Peters.
