Dean Wes Uyehara's Obituary
Dean Wes Uyehara went on to be with our Heavenly Father on April 2, 2018. He passed peacefully in his sleep, and was surrounded by his beloved children.
Dean was born in Honolulu on February 17, 1956 to Hidehiko and Mildred Uyehara. He is survived by his sister Terri Ann Uyehara, daughter Ashley Uyehara, and sons Sean Uyehara and Trevor Uyehara.
He started working at Holiday Mart during high school, and then went on to have a successful employment with them. Starting off as a clerk and working his way to management, he was able to travel for the company. He loved sharing his travel stories with his children, especially the ones where he was sent to Japan for work. He was a smart entrepreneur, and started two successful businesses with his best friend; K&K Catering and The Card Company.
During his free time, he would go fishing, bowling, and play baseball. He loved to talk story with his children, and continued to share his life experiences with them through his last days. He was an amazing father to his children, and fought tirelessly to make sure he was around to raise them.
Services will be held at Hawaiian Memorial Park on May 19, 2018 at 10:00am.
