My wife Laura and I just leaned of Deborah's passing today. We first met Deborah through an on-line ad she posted to sell fresh eggs. We were regular customers for a few years and remember when she first told us she was ill. Deborah was so full of life and always had something kind and encouraging to say whenever we saw her. We often talked story for over an hour even though we were just there to pick up eggs. Our hearts break for the Foo family. We wish them strength and love in this difficult time.

I only just learned of the loss of DeBorah...I am in shock that such a beautiful, vibrant woman is no longer here. DeBorah was a good friend...we met during triathlon training...I still hear her scolding me about my poor swimming...she could so out swim me! Her home was always welcoming. We had a lot of adventures together; many many wonderful memories. Deb was an amazing woman. Since I moved to Alaska, we dropped out of touch - and I regret that very much. I do not have the right words, and really words cannot express what I feel in my heart. Love you DeBorah and miss you. Thank you for your friendship and ohana.

I am so saddened to hear of Deb's passing. I was lucky enought to have known Deb for many years through the mortgage industry. We didn't see each other often, but when we did, we always had a good time, she was such a great person and what a singing voice! I remember the first time I heard her sing I Kona...WOW! I will miss her.

Dear Charlie and family,

My deepest sympathies to all of you. I have know Deb for so many years. I think we met in 1996. I always enjoyed her company and sense of humor. She and I were both in the mortgage industry and at one point she even originated loans with our company, Hawaii Mortgage Company. Both Alan and I were shocked to hear of her serious illness a couple of weeks ago and we can only imagine, with deep sadness, the suffering she must have experienced and the loss you all must be feeling at this time. I'm sure you'll remember me Charlie,
I haven't seen Debbie since 2006,
but she was such a good friend,
I don't know what happened and I'm in shock,
just by chance (or maybe it was Deb)
that I saw the obituary in the newspaper,
did a double-take, wait, I know her,
I'm so sorry :-(
