Delfin Claro Javier's Obituary
Delfin C Javier, also known as "Tatay"! was born on August 12, 1934, somewhere near the Ewa Sugar Mill on west Oahu. At the age of 6, he went on a vacation with his family, to *Northern Luzon, Philippines. They never returned because Pearl Harbor was bombed! So he grew up on his parents' native homeland. It wasn't until he was in his late 40's when he returned back to Hawai'i. Tatay was a wild child, and he started his family at the age of 19. His wife at 16. Tatay liked gardening, he also worked as a pig farmer.
Then, later became the pig farms veterinarian. Tatay had gifted hands. He loved to build stuff. He worked in many different types of jobs. He was a security guard, and retired a construction laborer, he liked to keep busy. Tatay passed away peacefully at Queen's West Oahu Medical Center.
He is survived by his three daughters, Nenita Bototo, Edna Javier, and Sandra Marquez, and his two sons, Rafael Estrella and Delbert Marquez. He is also survived by 22 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandson.
Tatay's funeral will be held at Valley of the Temples, 47-200 Kahekili Hwy, Kaneohe, Hawaii 96744. His services will be at the Main Chapel on December 14, 2022 from 11:00 am to 1:45 pm. Burial will be at 2:00 pm. Food and drinks will be offered.
