Dale "Doo Dad" Peterson
I have lots of great memories of Dennis, but one really stands out. Dennis lived across the street from me in Stillwater, MN. My first car was a '61 Ford Falcon. This was not a fast car...unless you were going downhill. One day Dennis decided to hop onto the roof of my car just before I headed down one of Stillwater's steepest hills. Like a fool, I floored it. We were all in stitches as we viewed just Dennis' upside down face through the windshield all while he was screaming like a wild man in laughter. Only a kid as strong as Dennis could have held on all the way down the hill. When we reached the bottom of the hill and came to a gentle stop, Dennis slowly slid his body down my windshield and car hood until he gently landed on the blacktop in front of my car. I just may have wet my pants that day. Gonna miss you, buddy!!
