Dermot Joseph Ornelles, DDS, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, August 5, 2024. Born in Honolulu, Hawaii (Waikiki) to Adam and Mary Ornelles, he was one of six children and a twin. Dermot, a proud alumnus, graduated from St Read Obituary
Dermot had a wonderful sense of humour and was a great story teller. I first met Dermot on the day of Dermot and Eileen's wedding. I was helping Eileen with set up etc. & this guy came in dressed casually. I asked him who he was as this was a private affair. He told me he was the groom. He will be missed.

You were my first dentist upon moving to HNL in 1979; transitioning me years later to your son, Robert, softened my loss in your retirement. Who knew that we would reconnect in the future when I bought a home in the property developed by your ‘ohana? You welcomed my fascination with its history, further deepening our bond over real estate.
You will be missed by all whose lives you touched.
