Dr. Derrick Yau Kin Yim DDS's Obituary
Celebrating the life of Derrick Yau Kin Yim. Born on November 27, 1967 in California. His parents were Sylvia and Dr. Donald Yim. Derrick was the 2nd of three children. He was a loving father, son, companion, brother and friend to all. He attended Saint Louis School and Creighton University. He earned a B.A. in Philosophy and a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Creighton University. Shorty after, he then opened his dental practice in Kaneohe. During his career as a dentist, he was often described as kind, gentle and caring. Services will be held on October 6, 2019 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary Chapel at the Valley of the Temples. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. Service will be from 10:30 a.m. -12:00 p.m. followed by lunch on the lanai at 12:00 p.m - 1:30 p.m. The burial will be on October 10, 2019 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery at 11:00 a.m.
