Diana Elizabeth Crocker Doerr's Obituary
Diana Elizabeth Crocker Doerr passed away October 13, 2025 in Honolulu Hawaii of natural causes. Kehaulani was her given Hawaiian name that embodied her whole spirit, it means the heavenly mist that she left a little of her light with everyone she met. After over 30 years of working in sales for Hilton Hotels she was able to spend her time enjoying retirement.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ted and Betty Crocker of Honolulu, Jean Doerr II, former husband of Hawaii, and her brother Christopher Crocker of Santa Rosa California. Diana leaves behind her daughter Cicely Crocker Doerr Foeger, son in law Peter Foeger, and much beloved grandson Aiden Foeger of East Palo Alto California. She also leaves behind Sharon Crocker of Santa Rosa, her siblings Cicely Crocker George of Honolulu, David and Linda Crocker of Sonora, California, and John Crocker of Honolulu, 9 nieces and nephews, 7 first cousins, second cousins in Florida, California, England, and New Zealand, as well as many other beloved family members.
Diana was born in Fitchburg, Massachusetts on July 14, 1950 and was the fourth of five children. She spent most of her childhood growing up in El Paso, Texas before moving to Lompoc, California where she finished high school. With her parents she then moved to Okinawa before settling in Honolulu, Hawaii in the early 70s. After high school she attended the University of Hawaii and became involved in the travel industry as a tour escort with Hawaiian Adventure. She met and married Jean Paul Doerr II and moved to Chico, California where her daughter Cicely was born. She then moved back to Kailua Kona, Hawaii where she began her career with Hilton at the old Kona Hilton, and then the Hilton Waikoloa, and then transferred to Hilton Hawaiian Village where she finished her career. Following in her mother’s footsteps, she spent countless hours keeping Hawaii clean, green, and beautiful as a board member for Scenic Hawaii, Inc. Before her death she was enjoying her time to the fullest traveling around visiting family and friends especially enjoying spending time with her grandson Aiden.
A celebration of life is being planned in her honor in both Honolulu and the Bay Area of California.
