Diane Guslander Faye “Willi”, devoted partner to Tony Faye and mother of Diane Faye Hawk(Greg) and Lindsay Faye Lucas(Jon) passed away on April 3, 2024 at age 78.
. Born in Hollywood, California to Lyle and Nina Guslander, Willi was raised on Oahu at the Moana Surfrider Hotel in Waikiki. She graduated from Castillija School in Palo Alto, California and attended culinary school in San Francisco. She was married to Tony Faye for 51 memorable years.

In addition to her husband and daughters, Willi is survived by a sister, Nan Guslander, Chris Faye her step-daughter and 3 grandchildren (Deacon, Griffin and Charlie).
There will be a private family burial in Hilo on April 26th at Homelani Cemetery and a Celebration of Life on Kaua’i. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making a donation in Willi’s memory to the Kaua’i or Koke’e Museum.
