Dolly Lue Kau's Obituary
Dolly Lue Pi’ilani (Espinda) Kau, 86 years of Honolulu, Hawaii, passed away at Nu’uanu Hospice on January 19, 2021. She was born February 18, 1934 in Honolulu, HI to the late Dolly and David “Lippy” Espinda. After attending Punahou H.S. she was a switch board operator at the Reef Hotel and then St. Francis Hospital. She retired after 30 years as a clerk and court reporter with the State of Hawaii Courts.
She is predeceased by her brother, David "Brother" Espinda and son, Leslie”Kauboy” Kau; and survived by her sons, Vernal K. Pratt (Jocelyn) and David John “DJ” Pratt, granddaughter, Briana (Pratt) Crakes and two great granddaughters, Lily and Iris Crakes.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions the family will be having a private service on Feb. 18. Arrangements provided by Valley of the Temples.
