Mrs Bannister and Carl were like my Hawaiian mom and dad. I was an air force brat and Kale and I were good friends. Having moved away to North Dakota and then IL, I just now learned of her passing. Carl Sr. taught me to play the uke and guitar. Kale was My defender in jr high. I remember Delores as a happy mama. I have a cherished letter from her. My belated condolences to Kale, Cookie, Mike and Sonia. I hope to reconnect some day.
