On behalf of myself & my mother, Flo Lerback, deepest
sympathy for your loss of such a great man. We both had the
pleasure of working with Don at AMC. We remember the
countless times he helped us in our duties, always positive,
making us laugh... a true man of aloha. I learned a lot from him
about maintenance, and will always remember his saying..."Just
be safe." He will truly be missed!

Aloha Kiyono Ohana!

I was deeply saddened with the news that Don has passed away. I
hasn't been that long ago since I worked with him at Ala Moana
Center. I was with the GGP Ala Moana Security team and has known
him over 8 years. He was one of the few who had the knowledge of
the inner workings of Ala Moana Shopping Center. He had a great
smile, was good fun to talk with and good to work with.

May God Bless your Ohana, please take comfort knowing that Don is
with the Lord and he lives no longer with pain and suffering. Don lives
in eternal peace and harmony!

To Don's wife and children,

My deepest sympathy for your loss. Starting in the early 90's, I worked for Ala Moana Center Security and our department called on Don and Kazu (inseparable and indispensible pillars of AMC Maintenance) many times each day for their help. Allan Teshima and Dwight Yoshimura readily praised their contributions to keeping the Center in safe working order.

Don's ready smile and quick wit lightened many a day for every Maintenance, Security and Custodial employee!

Dear Kiyono Family,

I want to express my sorrow for the lost of a wonder
man. I worked for AMC for 10 years and what kept me
there was people like Don who always had a smile on his
face and what I remember most the his eagerness to help
out. Working in Operations with Don was a wonderful part
