Donald Benedict Gomes' Obituary
Donald Benedict Gomes, beloved husband, father, brother and friend, passed away September 16, 2017 in Honolulu. He was 83 years old. Born in Honolulu on March 22, 1934 to parents Manuel C. Gomes and Georginia Vierra Gomes, Donald was a retired truck driver for the City & County of Honolulu's Roads Department.
He is survived by wife, Marian Gomes; sons, Jason L. Gomes and David Gomes; sister, Agnes Alcover.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 10, 2017, at Our Lady of the Mount Catholic Church in Kalihi (1614 Monte Street, Honolulu, Hawaii 96819). Visitation will be from 8:30-10:00 a.m. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. with a reception to follow in the church hall. Burial will be at 1:00 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
