Donald James Cadina
Donald was born to the late Joe Fernandes Cadina and Lillian Franks Cadina on December 2, 1957.
He went home to be with our Lord on October 1, 2021.
Donald accepted the precious gift of salvation through Jesus Christ
in 1991 and his life forever changed.
Donald was born and raised in Kahuku, graduated from Kahuku High in 1976.
He was blessed to live in the Kahuku Plantation home he was raised in.
He was blessed to raise his sons and to see some of his grandchildren being raised in the same home. It was a home he was so proud to share with his family.
Donald's first job as a teenager was at Cackle Fresh Egg Farm in Laie.
And for a brief time worked at Del Webb Kilima.
In 1977 he gained a position with the City & County of Honolulu beginning in Laie as a laborer and ending at the Kailua Wastewater Treatment Plant as a Supervisor Mechanic.
After 43 years of service with the City & County of Honolulu, he took an early retirement due to illness.
Donald leaves to cherish his memories his high school sweetheart Vanessa,
they were together for 46 years and married for 43 years.
He also leaves to cherish his memories his sons, daughters-in-law, & grandchildren-
Lucas & Feora (Damian & Jaxon); Mitchell & Breyonna (Austin, Ariana, Maya & Matteo);
Dustin & Rosy (Lily & Liam);
Dillon & Tifeni (Swayze); Aaron & Hailey.
His brothers and sister-in-law Joseph F. Cadina III & Ann Cadina, of Las Vegas and Dwayne T, Cadina, of Utah.
His beloved sister Carol J. Galdeira preceded him in death, He also leaves behind his mother-in-law Rose Boneza and sister-in-law and brother-in-law Harolynn & Roy Apilado, numerous nieces and nephews, aunts, cousins and dear friends.
* He will be missed always and in our hearts forever.
