We are so sorry for your loss,Donald was such a super guy. When
he got sick,we were hoping that when we turned the conner he
would be back outside sweeping the side walk or raking the yard.
We miss his big smile and hand wave every time we drove by. We
would stop sometime and just talk stories,those were such nice
times,how we cherish those moments.
Angie remembers the time you gave her a surprise birthday party
with her hula sisters,she said Uncle Donald was so excited that he
almost told her about it,but he covered up real good.
We have such good memories of him that he will never be
forgotten.
Evangeline if you and your family ever need anything or just what
to talk,we are here for all of you,just call us or come over anytime.

I am extremely honored to have known such a man of pure distinction. He openly shared his knowledge and experiences; gave sound advice and could tell stories filled with many thoughts and much laughter. A man who would remember things that others couldn't. Donald was extremely proud of his loving wife, children and grandchildren. His spirit will always be alive especially with those whom he touched. Condolences to the Sylvester Family.

I am deeply saddened to learn of Donald's passing. He was a mentor and friend to me. I learned much from his example: a man of compassion; treated everyone with respect; he had an infectous smile and his humor would "bring the house down". Until we meet again rest in peace in God's loving arms, Donald. And to his loved ones: May the Lord's love embrace, comfort, and heal your wounded hearts in this most difficult time.
