Dora "Tutu" Seto's Obituary
Dora “Tutu” Brown Seto passed away peacefully in her sleep on December 25, 2014 in Fontana, California after a long battle with Alzheimers. Dora was born on June 13, 1929 in Honolulu to the late Dora “Momso” Brown and William Brown. She Graduated from Hawaii Mission Academy and went on to a 30-year career with the Hawaiian Telephone Company as a customer service representative. Dora was also very active in the company’s various sports activities, She enjoyed bowling, volleyball, tennis and the various “escapades” that she and her good friends at the telephone company participated in. Of course, with Dora always being the ringleader. Dora enjoyed traveling to Europe with her good friends and family and taking cruises with her late sister May Christian. Dora had a terrific sense of humor, a big heart and always put family first. Her slogan was “Happy, Happy, Home”. She brought great joy to the many friends and family members who knew her.
She will be missed by her daughter, Lynne Hattendorft (Steve), sons Daniel (Veronica), Jason (Laurette) who also lovingly took care of mom as her primary caregiver for many years; brothers, Alvin (Barbara) Brown of Las Vegas; James (Linda) Brown of Honolulu; Eugene (Ida) Brown of Honolulu her granddaughters, Lauren, Tara Hattendorf and Jannelise (William) who were the joys of her life and her great-grandson Tyler. Many nieces and nephews (she was the best babysitter)
