Lowrey, Dorcy Elaine's Obituary
Dorcy Elaine Rapozo Lowrey, lovingly known as Mom and Gram to her family, passed away peacefully on April 12, 2026, in Kailua, Hawaii. Born on August 27, 1937, in Kapaa, Hawaii, Dorcy lived a life deeply connected to the islands she cherished and called home.
She was the daughter of Albert C. and Marie L. Rapozo and was predeceased by her husband, Norman Lowrey. Dorcy is survived by her son, Robert Lowrey of Iowa, and her daughter, Patricia Felter of Kaneohe, Hawaii. Her legacy lives on through her grandchildren: Brian (Felicity) Felter of Lacey, Washington, Chandelle (Gavin) Felter-Garcia of Kaneohe, Hawaii, Norman Lowrey, and Angela Holtby of Iowa. Affectionately known as "Tutu", Dorcy was a proud great-grandmother to six great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life. She also leaves behind loving cousins Wilma (Richard) Boudreau, Maureen Bloom, and Marie Waters. Dorcy will be laid to rest on July 15, at 10 am at St. Catherines Cemetery, Kapaa, Kauai.
