Dorothy Seu Wong's Obituary
92, of ʻĀina Haina, passed away quietly at home Thursday morning, November 3, 2022. A beloved mom and grandmother, she is survived by her children Theresa, Herbert, and Randall Wong, and grandchildren.
Dorothy was born to Seu Song and Lam See in Pearl Ridge on July 23, 1930.
The youngest of 11 siblings, Dorothy will always be lovingly remembered. Dorothy graduated from McKinley High School class of 1948. Soon after she met Albert Wong and they married in 1950. She went on to become a caring housewife. They bought their forever home together in 1973 settling in ʻĀina Haina.
After Albert passed away in 1984, she enjoyed her favorite pastimes. Dorothy loved gardening, spending time with family and friends, watching TV, and her pets whom she loved dearly Baby, Lady, Tootsie, Pumpkin, Bebe, Barney, Hapa, and Happy.
Everyone who knew her said “she was such a nice old lady.” She never asked for anything. She was humble, charitable, generous, and kind to those who knew her.
A private memorial service for Dorothy will be held.
