Dwayne P.M. Ahakuelo's Obituary
Dwayne Paulson Mokuola Ahakuelo, 58 of Kaneohe, Hawaii passed on September 23, 2018 at Queens Medical Center. Dwayne was born on January 6, 1960. Dwayne is survived by his daughter Dwayna Lynn “Mahina” Ahakuelo of Las Vegas, Nevada, son Bronson Ahakuelo of Waimanalo, sisters Terrilyn Ahakuelo-Kahanu (Vern), Rene Ahakuelo (Kalani), Deidra “Didi” Ahakuelo-Kepa (Ala), numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces. Dwayne is predeceased by his mother Barbara C. Ahakuelo and father Arthur P. Ahakuelo. Dwayne worked for 38 years as a stevedore/longshoreman with Hawaii Stevedores/Pasha Hawaii. He is a graduate of Castle High School class of 1978. Dwayne was a very loving and giving person, he had a heart of gold and loved everyone. He will be most remembered for his beautiful smile. He enjoyed the beach, surfing and most of all his children and spending time with his family and friends.
Services and burial for Dwayne will be held at Hawaiian Memorial Park Mortuary on Friday, November 16, 2018, viewing 9:30am – 11:00 a.m. Service at 11:00 a.m., Final viewing 12noon – 12:45pm Burial at 1:00 p.m Followed by Celebration of Life at He’eia State Park (formerly Ulu Mau Village) 45-465 Kamehameha Highway, Kaneohe, Hawaii.
