Earl Hajime Yamaguchi's Obituary
Earl H. Yamaguchi, age 75, left us to be with the Lord on Tuesday, April 10, 2018. He passed peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones at Queen's Hospital in Honolulu.
A loving husband and devoted father and grandfather, Earl was a calm and gentle spirit. Everyone remembers him for his kindness and generous heart. Earl believed in appreciating life for its blessings and living graciously. He always tried to enjoy life to the fullest by spending time with his family and appreciating even the smallest gift in life. One of his latest and most joyous moments were playing with his grandchildren; the laughter and affection he poured onto them will never be forgotten.
Earl served his country with integrity and honor before completing his education at Honolulu Community College and beginning his career as an Electronics Technician. Throughout his life, Earl traveled around the world taking photos and appreciating God's beautiful work of nature. He especially loved mountains and scenic views and took many trips with his family. Few of his favorite visited places were the Arches National Park, Yosemite, Smoky Mountains, and Niagara Falls.
Earl was married to his beloved wife for thirty-six years. He was a devoted husband as well as an amazing father who always placed his children before himself. Earl worked tirelessly and saved his earnings by even giving up his own desires and hobbies in order to provide the best for his family. Both children graduated from college and have successful careers due to Earl's endless and humble efforts.
Earl is preceded by Kazuo and Alice Yamaguchi. He is survived by his loving wife Elizabeth, who loved him dearly and stayed beside him through sickness and health; his two sons, Colin and Ryan; daughter-in-law, Sara; and two grandchildren, Caleb and Elise.
