Earley Adam Kaili Smith's Obituary
Earl Adam Smith of Māʻkaha, Hawaiʻi, passed away peacefully on May 31, 2026, at the age of 82.
Earl lived a full and adventurous life defined by hard work, service, loyalty, and love for his family and friends. A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, he carried the values of dedication and strength throughout his life. He was also a respected member of Pipeliners Local Union 798, where he built lasting friendships and earned the respect of those who worked beside him.
Earl embraced life with energy and passion. He loved martial arts, classic cars and hot rods, fishing and diving, and riding motorcycles. Whether out on the water, working on an engine, or enjoying the open road, he found joy in the experiences that brought people together. Above all else, he treasured time spent with family.
He is lovingly survived by his wife, Jo Marrs-Smith; his son, Landis Smith; Daughter and law, Jennifer Smith; Grand Children, Madison Smith, Landis Carter Smith; Great Grandchild, Leilani Birthisel and his sister, Loraine Smith-Notter. He was Proceeded in death by his Mother, Elizabeth Kulanihwa Simeona-Smith; his Father; Landis Elwood Smith, and Grandchild; Antonio Toryak. His memory will continue to live on through the stories, laughter, and love he shared with everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Earl will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, steady presence, and the deep love he had for his family and friends. His life was well lived, and his legacy will endure in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
