Edward K. Imamura, affectionately known as "Uncle Cabbage," passed away peacefully on October 14, 2024, at the age of 94. Born on February 28, 1930, in Honolulu, Hawaii, Edward lived a full and vibrant life, leaving behind a legacy of love, hard work, and adventure.
Edward was a skilled mechanic and welder, dedicating his talents to his craft with precision and pride. Beyond his professional life, he was an avid traveler who cherished exploring new places with his beloved wife. Together, they enjoyed many memorable cruises to Alaska, Mexico and traveling throughout the United States, making many trips to Las Vegas. Creating lasting memories along the way.
A proud military veteran, Edward served his country with honor and distinction. His dedication to his family was unwavering, and he was a cherished figure in the lives of those who knew him.
Edward is survived by his wife Jane S. (Kiyabu) Imamura; sons Scott Imamura and Todd (Nikki) Imamura; sister Florence Kubota; Granddaughter Chastity (Randy Hironaka) Imamura; Grandson Michael Imamura; Great-Granddaughter Kaile Tom and numerous nieces and nephews.
Edward's life will be celebrated on December 16, 2024, at the Valley of the Temples Makai Chapel. Visitation to begin at 10 am and Services will be held at 11 AM.
Edward's warmth, humor, and adventurous spirit will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace.
