Edward "Tata Ed" Llacuna Felipe Sr.'s Obituary
Edward “Tata Ed” Llacuna Felipe, Sr., a resident of Honolulu, Hawaii passed away at his residence in Honolulu he was 101 years old. Edward was born to Escolastica (Llacuna) and Benigno Felipe in Laoag City, Ilocos Norte, Philippines on July 4, 1915.
Edward was a retired chief plumbing inspector for the Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and a United States Navy Veteran.
Edward is survived by his daughter, Lourdes “Lydee” Ritchie; son, Carlino Ruiz; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Lourdes Ruiz Felipe and son, Edward L. Felipe, Jr.
Service for Edward will be held on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at St. John the Baptist Church (located at 2324 Omilo Lane, Honolulu, Hawaii 96819); visitation from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m.; eulogy at 10:00 a.m.; Mass to begin at 10:30; burial to follow 12:00 p.m. at Valley of the Temples Memorial Park.
